Great Band Music Under The Stars

Back again for 2012, Perth Concert Band and special guests Libby Hammer and Hip Mo Toast are once again coming to the Quarry Amphitheatre in City Beach on Friday the 30th March at 7pm.

Under the direction of Peter Moore, Perth's much loved concert band will delight you with memorable selection of well known music including big band, jazz, latin and classical. The 50 or so members of Perth Concert Band are a blend of amateur and professional musicians and as WA's champion A-Grade concert band are well regarded.

We also share with you the amazing talent of Libby Hammer backed by the fine musicians of Hip Mo Toast. This will be a night to remember! Bring your own picnic and drinks, soak up the atmosphere, and enjoy a wonderful celebration of music and song under the stars.

Gates will open at 6pm for picnickers. Tickets are $35 Adults, $25 Concession, $15 for Children 15 yrs and under. Family Ticket available at $80 for a family (2+2).

Stike Up The Band will be presented at Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre, 48 Canning Road Kalamunda on Sunday 23rd October 2011 at 2:00pm

Dance Melodies

Treat yourself to an afternoon filled with the delightful music of dance as Peter Moore directs the current State A-GRADE Concert Band Champions through your favourite dance tunes in "Dance Melodies".

WA's favourite Concert Band will present a selection of popular dance music including The Nutcracker Suite, selections from Grease, Rock and Roll music, The Blue Danube Waltz and many more.

Dance Melodies will be presented at Callaway Auditorium, University of Western Australia, Nedlands on Sunday 24th July 2011 at 2:00pm.

Tickets are $20 Adults, $15 Concession, $10 Children or $50 for a Family Group (2+2). Supper is provided

Under the Stars

It's concert time again and we are pleased to announce "Great Band Music Under the Stars" at the unique venue of the Quarry Amphitheatre! Please welcome our Director Mr. Peter Moore OAM, as he directs the Perth Concert Band in this exciting concert featuring big band favourites by Gershwin, Ellington and Sinatra, as well as popular band works by Percy Grainger and others.

Our special guests at the concert will be the Libby Hammer Quintet, well known in Perth for their own stylish brand of fun and sophisticated jazz, lounge and Latin music.

The concert will be presented on March 19, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Quarry Amphitheatre in City Beach, WA. Gates will open at 6:00 pm for picnickers. Tickets are $34 Adults, $26 Concession, $14 for Children 15 yrs and under. There is also a family ticket available at $80 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children.
